The programme of Procurement Capability Reviews (PCRs) was first announced in Transforming Government Procurement in January 2007. The programme is central to the Government’s aim to ensure that procurement drives public service improvements.

OGC has published an Overview Report (PDF, 468KB) that provides a summary of the results of the first wave of Procurement Capability Reviews conducted across the sixteen major spending government departments and highlights a number of positive actions undertaken by departments following their reviews.
