Welcome to Government Relocation.

Ensuring that Government delivers its relocation commitments is a complex change programme. It involves decisions about:

  • the efficient and effective delivery of a Department's current business reflected in choice of location,
  • type and use of accommodation,
  • the consequent workforce, 
  • regional regeneration implications, and 
  • the delivery and location of new businesses that are developed in the future.

The Government Relocation Portal is a knowledge base.  It brings together information from a range of sources in support of the relocation programme.
