Monitoring of vocational qualifications 2002 - 2003

Last updated on: 08/04/2008

This is the first public report providing details of monitoring activities covering vocational awards. It summarises outcomes from 33 distinct monitoring projects on vocational awards covering 11 occupational sectors. Shortfalls in meeting the criteria, expressed as 'accreditation conditions', have been analysed to provide an overview of the quality of vocational awards.

These documents were published by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). The regulatory function of QCA is now the responsibility of the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual). Ofqual regulates qualifications and monitors national curriculum assessments in England.
