Rationalisation of qualifications: Annual report 2005

This is the fifth annual report to ministers on the accreditation and rationalisation of qualifications. It:

  • highlights the progress made by the regulators in addressing the needs of learners and the rationalisation of qualifications provision, as well as continued improvements to the accreditation process
  • outlines the developments made in sector areas to ensure that learners are provided with robust and valued qualifications.

This document was published by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). The regulatory function of QCA is now the responsibility of the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual). Ofqual regulates qualifications and monitors national curriculum assessments in England.
