Ofqual sends open letter on reliability programme
18 November 2008
We have today published an open letter on the reliability of results programme, which was announced at our launch earlier this year.
The letter, sent to college principals and teaching associations, addresses the progress of our reliability of results programme, which recently appointed a panel of experts to oversee the work. It also asks college principals and members of the public to participate in the work by contributing their views on the reliability and consistency of examinations and tests.
Taking place over two years, this comprehensive study aims to explore all the areas which may affect the reliability of results and discover how these factors may impact on a learner's final grade.
