Memorandum of Understanding 1 (MOU1)

The MOU1, along with other key documents (Direction and Memorandum of Understanding 2) governs the relationship between Ofqual and QCA.

The MOU1 was agreed between the Department for Children, Schools and Family (DCSF) and the QCA. It describes the interim arrangements which are designed to achieve a degree of operational separation between the regulatory functions and the rest of QCA's functions, pending the enactment of new legislation and the establishment of a new regulator.
