Unit certificate design

This document outlines the minimum requirements that the regulators of external qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland would expect an awarding body to include on a unit certificate of an accredited qualification. It should be read in conjunction with A guide to the arrangements for the statutory regulation of external qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

This document was published by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). The regulatory function of QCA is now the responsibility of the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual). Ofqual regulates qualifications and monitors national curriculum assessments in England.
