What is National Citizen Service?
If you’re 16, this summer you could have the chance to take part in National Citizen Service: mixing with people from different backgrounds, learning more about yourself and giving something back. It’s a voluntary programme that includes fun and challenging activities, away-from-home residential experiences and a social action project designed by the young people involved.
How can I get involved?
- National Citizen Service takes place across England. There are around 30,000 places available for summer 2012, with more places in future years as the scheme grows.
