PRISTINA, Kosovo – On the 1st of September 2006 the Change of Command ceremony of Commander Kosovo Force (COMKFOR) was held at Headquarters Kosovo Force (KFOR) in Pristina. Lieutenant General Roland Kather, German Army, took over command of KFOR from Lieutenant General Giuseppe Valotto, Italian Army.
