Working at The National Archives
About The National Archives
The National Archives is the official archive for England, Wales and central UK Government. We hold 11 million records - from Domesday Book to the most recent government papers.
We help government manage their information more effectively and promote the reuse of public sector information. We also lead on developing cutting edge preservation techniques for records of any format, from parchment to digital, and advise others throughout the public and private sectors on the care of historical archives.
