Advance notice – the next national visitors' survey is scheduled to take place during February and March 2006.
Further information, and registration for the Survey, will follow in the autumn but offices may care to note the following:-
- Questions used on the Survey Form will remain the same from the last Survey in 2004
- A registration fee of £75 +vat will be re-introduced which will cover all materials, own results and the National Report
- Printing and scanning of the forms by IPF will be optional with costs set at £0.15 (printing) and £0.50 (scanning) per form
- Individual results for all offices will be published as part of the National Report (unless an office specifically requests anonymity). This will be produced as an Adobe Acrobat (PDF) file, but can be made available as an Excel Spreadsheet for an extra charge.
- An excel spreadsheet will be made available to download off the website for Record offices / archives to type in their own results if required
