Ministry of Defence Public Consultation Documents

The Ministry of Defence is committed to following best practice in conducting public consultations, in line with the Governments Code of Practice on Consultation. One of the Codes principles is that information about public consultations should be made readily available to the public, including by electronic means.

Details of MOD public consultations are published on this page. It is broken down into 3 sections: live consultations; closed consultations awaiting a response; and responses to consultations, including a summary of views expressed and reasons for the final decision taken.

A copy of the current Code of Practice on Consultation, which came into effect from 1st April 2004, can be found on the Cabinet Office website and the Government's Consultations Index website."
