Pay and Allowances Casework Cell (PACC)
The PACC will provide a single point of contact for both Unit HR staff and former service personnel to submit cases relating to pay and allowances for formal consideration. The PACC will also take on the responsibility for all recoveries, overpayments, pay related Income Tax and National Insurance enquiries. In addition, the PACC has put in place processes for individuals to appeal decisions that have previously been made by the PACC and will provide input to redresses and complaints, if required.
This is further evidence of AFPAA’s drive to provide Armed Forces personnel with a harmonised and more effective service, and is a key component of the Agency transformation plan in readiness for the roll out of Joint Personnel Administration (JPA) in 2006.
Over recent weeks there has been an intensive programme of training, briefing, exercises and evaluations to make sure that the PACC is ready to provide our Armed Forces with a fair, accurate and efficient service.
