Defence Logistics Organisation

The Air Launched Munitions Integrated Project Team (ALM IPT) is responsible for ensuring the appropriate level of in-service logistics support needed to meet the operational and airworthiness requirements for all in-service air launched munitions and associated equipment within the three Services

The ALM IPT is primarily located at RAF Wyton in Cambridgeshire. However, the IPT also has a small element at RAF Coningsby, responsible for technical assistance, advice and support for armament systems and weapons to all customers and IPTs.

The ALM IPT has a total strength of around 150 staff from all three uniformed Services and the civil service. It provides logistics support for all in-service air launched weapons systems, associated release equipment and aircraft guns. The IPT is organised into three programme branches, a Technology and Safety Branch plus three supporting branches. Each of the programme branches has its own engineering, range management and financial staff.
