Op Telic Health Research Review Board

Operation TELIC is the UK contribution to the ongoing military operation in Iraq. The Op TELIC Health Research Review Board oversees the independent research the Ministry of Defence has funded into the health of Service personnel returning from Op TELIC

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has put a range of measures in place to monitor the health of personnel returning from Op TELIC. On 7 May 2003 the MOD released a Press Notice giving details of the monitoring and research programme being implemented for Op TELIC veterans.

The Review Board is required to provide the independent scrutiny and validation function for the research and to advise the MOD on the need for any additional research.
