The Evaluation Process

What happens after you've submitted your suggestion.

Your Local Award Group Secretary will acknowledge receipt of your suggestion.

If all is in order, your suggestion will then be sent to an expert evaluator for investigation and comment. The evaluator will be someone from the appropriate organisation with authority to decide whether the suggestion is practical and will be implemented.

The evaluation will take into account the originality of the suggestion; whether it has a local or wider use; assess any savings or other benefits arising from it, and confirm whether or not the suggestion will be implemented. Only those suggestions that are implemented will be eligible for an award, although LAGs have discretion to make a small encouragement award for unsuccessful but deserving cases.

This process may take a little time, depending on the nature of your suggestion, but the LAG Secretary will be able to keep you informed of progress.
