The DARS conducts 'joint, common, high level' flight safety training courses.
Annually, almost 1,000 military, MoD contracted civilian and overseas students attend short courses at RAF Northolt. The courses offered include:
- Flying Supervisors' Course (FSC)
- Flying Authorizors' Course (FLAC)
- Human Factors Facilitator Course (HFFC)
- Flight Safety Officers' Course (FSOC)
- Post Crash Management Incident Officers' Course (PCMIOC)
