Showers continuing across western coasts. Frost developing in rural parts.

This Evening and Tonight:

Showers continuing towards western coasts and northwest England. A cold night as clear skies develop across much of England and Wales, leading to a widespread rural frost. Increasing cloud across northern and western areas later. Light west to northwest winds.

Thursday:

England and Wales staying largely dry and bright with the best of the sunshine in the south and east. Scotland and Northern Ireland becoming cloudy with outbreaks of rain. Chilly.
