Welcome to the Learning and Skills Council The LSC exists to make England better skilled and more competitive. We have a single goal: to improve the skills of England's young people and adults to make sure we have a workforce that is of world-class standards. We are responsible for planning and funding high-quality vocational education and training for everyone. Our vision is that by 2010, young people and adults in England have the knowledge and skills matching the best in the world and are part of a fiercely competitive workforce.

Raising our game Our third Annual Statement of Priorities sets out what needs to be achieved to improve skills, boost productivity and create an economy which can continue to compete on the world stage.	Leading Change: The LSC's Annual Report and Accounts for 2005/06 31 July sees the launch of Leading Change, the LSC's Annual Report 2006 which outlines our key achievements of the last financial year.

agenda for change - Funding Reform Second Consultation The LSC is undertaking a second round of technical consultations with providers, representative bodies and other stakeholders to identify solutions to funding reforms proposed through agenda for change.	Talk to DES The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) have launched a campaign, called 'Talk to Des', which aims to raise the level of participation and involvement within the disabled population.
