The Ministry of Justice's simplification plan 2008 shows our progress made since 2007 in delivering reductions in the administrative burdens that our regulations impose on businesses, charities and the voluntary sector. It also provides an update on how we have been reducing data requests and bureaucratic burdens on our own front-line staff. It sets out our future plans for delivering our promised 25% reduction by 2010 in the administrative burdens on the business and third sectors.
You are invited to submit comments on the plan to the Ministry of Justice's Better Regulation Team. We welcome proposals for measures to be included in future updates of the plan, particularly proposals to simplify existing regulation.
