Company winding up and bankruptcy petition statistics (NS)

The quarterly release is released by the Ministry of Justice and produced in accordance with arrangements provided by the UK Statistics Authority.

Note that these figures represent court activity and not the actual numbers of individual or business insolvencies. The Insolvency Service publishes parallel quarterly statistics on this issue.
