Responses

Over 140 replies were received to the consultation and the government is grateful to all those who took the time to send in a response. The responses have ensured that the debate around the implementation of the Act is an extremely robust one, and the government is pleased to report that the proposals were, on the whole, well supported.

The paper details the background, lists the questions and the arguments, and outlines the government's response. A Welsh version is being prepared and will be published soon.
