Guide to Criminal Procedure (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2008

Reminder: the Criminal Procedure Rule Committee has made amendments to the Criminal Procedure Rules, which will come into force on 6 April 2009.

The seventh amendment to the Criminal Procedure Rules 2005 includes new rules about the early provision of details of the prosecution case in a magistrates' court and about trials in a magistrates' court.

The guide to the amendment provides more details of the changes for court users, staff and practitioners.
