Funding for the victim and witness voluntary sector

The Government has announced that up to £9.8m per year, for three years, will be available in grant funding for voluntary-sector groups providing specialist support to victims and witnesses.


Rape support fund

Meeting the government's commitment to provide rape crisis centres with stable, long-term funding. Please ensure you have read the criteria and that your organisation is eligible to apply.

Victim and witness fund

For organisations who offer front line support for victims and witnesses. Please ensure you have read the criteria and that your organisation is eligible to apply.

Homicide fund

For organisations offering support to those who are bereaved through murder or manslaughter. Please ensure you have read the criteria and that your organisation is eligible to apply.

Please note: The Homicide Fund awards are for one-year only, to accommodate the findings from the Victim Commissioner's report and the MOJ evaluation of the Homicide Service.  However, there is an expectation that funding will be renewed (ending in March 2014) subject to the findings of these reports.
