The Ministry of Justice is working on the guidance to make it practical and comprehensive for business. We will come forward with further details in due course.
When the guidance is published it will be followed by a three month notice period before implementation of the Act.
This consultation is open to anyone with an interest in the guidance to be published under section 9 of the Bribery Act.
The guidance is about procedures which commercial organisations can put in place to prevent persons associated with them from bribing.
You can respond or provide feedback to this consultation as follows:

To support the consultation we will also be holding a number of open discussion seminars to further encourage the sharing of views on the form and content of the proposed guidance.
