Tribunals Service

The Tribunals Service provides administrative support for the judiciary who hear cases and decide appeals in tribunals. The Tribunals Service and the judiciary work in partnership to ensure that the public has an opportunity to exercise its rights and seek effective redress against government decisions, and to help to settle disputes between employers and employees.

Not all types of appeals are administered by the Tribunals Service. Details of the types of tribunals administered by the Tribunals Service are available on its website.
