Biography

Gerry Sutcliffe was appointed as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State on 9 May 2007. He was appointed as Under-Secretary of State  for criminal justice and offender management at the Home Office on 5 May 2006.

Gerry was previously Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Trade and Industry and has been MP for Bradford South since June 1994.  Before entering Parliament he was a Trade Union Officer for the Graphical Paper and Media Union (GPMU)..

He is married with three children
