Statistics
The Insolvency Statistics provide the official numbers of corporate and individual insolvencies in England & Wales. An industrial breakdown, by the Standard Industrial Classification, is given for each type of business insolvency, as well as additional statistics for bankruptcies. Statistics are designated as a National Statistics product. They have been
assessed against the Code of Practice for Official Statistics by the
UK Statistics Authority and deemed compliant with the Code. The assessment report (Number 44) can be found on the
