Compensation Schemes replaced by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme, operated under the control of the FSA, has replaced the following:

  • Deposit Protection Board;

  • Building Societies Investor Protection Scheme;

  • Investors Compensation Scheme;

  • Personal Investment Authority Indemnity Scheme;

  • Policyholders Protection Board; and

  • Friendly Societies Protection Scheme.
