Information to be provided by official receivers when instructing book debt contractors:

 

1. The name and court details of the estate from which the instruction emanates together with the name of the official receiver and his/her office,

2. The address and telephone number, where known, of the bankrupt, company director or partner,

3. The name and address of each book debtor with telephone number, if known, and customer reference number, if known,

4. The amount of the debt,

5. The date when the debt was incurred,

6. The consideration for the debt,

7. Any documentary evidence held in support of the debt,
