IMB National Council

The National Council is made up of nine elected IMB members, all of whom are unpaid volunteers. The National Council is chaired by its President, Dr Peter Selby. You can contact any member of the National Council via the IMB Secretariat.

In pictures: IMB National Council's Annual Report Event

An evening event was held in Westminster on 10th March 2009 to mark the publication of ‘Behind Closed Doors’, the first annual report from the IMB National Council.  National Council President Peter Selby welcomed Shahid Malik, Justice Minister, and Phil Woolas, Immigration Minister, representatives of various IMBs and other bodies interested in the care and treatment of prisoners and detainees, and officials from NOMS and UKBA.
