Release of Prisoners

This leaflet describes the role of the National Probation Service with victims after an offender has been sentenced to 12 months or more in prison for a sexual or violent offence. It explains what information victims are entitled to receive about the offender, and how they can make known any concerns they have about his or her eventual release from prison.
