Local
Delivery Managers Project Team
The Local Delivery Managers Project has been set up
to improve performance against Home Office objectives
and outcomes that require cross-cutting partnership
working. In carrying out this role Delivery Managers
are expected to identify and remove barriers to delivery,
challenge the way areas are performing, establish the
reasons for failure to meet targets and act as decisive
agents for change and improvements. Delivery Managers
are also expected to provide feedback to the Home Office
and other Government Departments in particular on ways
in which central policies and requirements can be changed
to better support effective delivery. The team works
across all areas of Home Office business.
The Local Delivery Managers Project compliments a pilot
being taken forward in Bradford and the London Borough
of Hammersmith and Fulham. A new model based on a negotiated
agreement reflecting Home Office priorities and local
needs is being piloted in these areas.
