Criminal Records Bureau - Increase in disclosure fees and introduction of fees for POVAFirst: Analysis of responses to the consultation document
The Criminal Records Bureau today published a report detailing the analysis of the responses to the consultation exercise on the increase to Disclosure fees and the introduction of a charge for POVAFirst checks. Following the consultation, the proposals to increase the Disclosure fees by £2 and introduce a £6 charge for POVAFirst checks has been approved by the CRB Minister. The CRB intend to seek commencement of the new charges from 6th April 2006 and this will be done via statutory instrument.
