Summary of response to the government’s consultation on the proposed control of Gamma-Butyrolactone (GBL) and 1,4-Butanediol (1,4-BD)
In May 2009, the government published a consultation paper on GBL and 1,4-BD, seeking views on proposals for these substances to be controlled under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and its associated subordinate legislation. The consultation period closed on 13 August 2009.
