Consultation: The Motor Salvage Operators Regulations 2002
This is in effect a re-consultation exercise. We consulted widely in April 2000 on the proposals to regulate the motor salvage industry and received broad support for our proposals which have been taken forward in The Vehicles (Crime) Act 2001, which received Royal Assent on 10 April 2001. We are now seeking views on the detail of the regulations to be made under this new legislation.
