Fixed Penalty Notices: Reducing public disorder

The government believes that there is a need to tackle more effectively disorderly behaviour in public places which is anti-social, disruptive and creates misery for individuals and communities.

This consultation studied the idea of fixed penalty notices as part of this process.

Consultation ended in 2000.
