Disciplinary Tribunal against Dr. Michael John Heath

Dr Heath is aged 58 years. He qualified as a doctor in 1975. In 1981 he obtained diplomas in both pathological and clinical medical jurisprudence. He has been a Member of the Royal College of Pathologists since April 1990 and a Fellow of the same since January 1998. Since 1979 he has worked as a forensic pathologist undertaking post mortems concerning deaths of a violent or suspicious nature for various constabularies. He has been an accredited Home Office Pathologist since the inception of what is now the Register in the early 1990s. He is clearly a very experienced forensic pathologist [1/76i].
