| The
Policy Action Team Report on Community Self-Help has been produced by a
team which included representatives of community groups and those involved
with community development, including central and local government and the
private sector. The Report looks exclusively at what barriers exist
to community activity in poor neighbourhoods and what actions may be taken
to encourage participation. The Government would welcome any comments on
the Report. The closing date for comments is 30 November.
