futurebuilders
An Investment Fund for Voluntary
and Community Sector Public Service Delivery
What it is
futurebuilders is a £125m fund that will
deliver an increase in the scale and scope of the public
services delivered by the Voluntary and Community Sector
(VCS). It will do so through taking an investment in
exemplars in VCS service delivery operating in five
priority service areas.
The emphasis will be on step change within front-line
service providing organisations so that they can deliver
improved, and sustainable, services for users.
Finding
out more about it

The fund will be managed outside
government by a consortium of organisations selected
for their experience of the VCS under the name of Futurebuilders
England.
Futurebuilders England will provide further information

The futurebuilders fund
was designed in a unique way, in close collaboration
with the VCS, in what has been an exemplar of the Compact.
The fund is a joint assessment about what is needed
and what will work, and is jointly owned by Government
and the VCS.
