Working with individuals and communities
About us
Impact assessments
We are required to write impact assessments on all proposals likely to affect businesses and other organisations.
The Home Office must prepare an assessment for all proposals (legislative and non-legislative) which are likely to have a direct or indirect effect on businesses, charities or the voluntary sector.
These include:
-
proposals which reduce costs on business and the third sector, as well as those that increase costs
-
any proposal affecting costs in the public sector, unless those costs will be less than £5m
The impact assessments listed below are divided by year. You can also search for an impact assessment using this website's search function.
