The Departmental Security Unit ensures that appropriate security and business continuity arrangements are in place at the Home Office, and that these are consistent with the risk to staff, property, assets and information.
Its work includes responsibility for building security, IT and communication security, and for security clearances for Home Office staff and contractors.
