Home Office asylum policy towards Iraqi refugees

We have received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following: 

1. What evidence forms the basis of the Government's decision that Iraq is now safe?

 

2. How does the Government decide between Iraqis that genuinely are in need of UK protection, and those that are not?

 

3. What constitutes the established programme for Iraqi refugee resettlement in the UK?
