CONSOLIDATED FUND AND NATIONAL LOANS FUND ACCOUNTS 2001-02 SUPPLEMENTARY STATEMENTS
The Supplementary Statements to the Consolidated Fund and National Loans Fund Accounts 2001-02 have been laid before Parliament and published today.
The Supplementary Statements set out information on the transactions, assets and liabilities of the Consolidated Fund and National Loans Fund, prepared in accordance with section 21(3) of the National Loans Act 1968. The information given supplements the data contained in the audited accounts of the Consolidated Fund and the National Loans Fund prepared under section 21(1) of that Act and published as House of Commons Paper No. 112 of 2002-03.
Departments also provide information on provisions and contingencies in their resource accounts. These provisions and contingencies are reported under FRS12 (the Financial Reporting Standard governing contingencies) and while related to those reported in the Supplementary Statements, may not be directly comparable.
