Total Managed Expenditure, current prices, real terms, and % of GDP

Total managed expenditure is the sum of the current and capital expenditure of central government, local government and public corporations.

The real terms figures are adjusted to price levels of 2003-04.

Outturn data are the latest national accounts' figures from ONS dated 20th July 2004. There are cuurently no forecasts on a consistent basis. Please refer to paragraph A.16 of the Spending Review 2004 for details.
