Public sector current expenditure is made up of central government, local authorities and public corporations current spend. 

Outturn data are the latest national accounts' figures from ONS dated 20th July 2004. There are currently no consistent forecasts. For further details please refer to paragraph A.16 in Spending Review 2004.

Real term figures are given in 2003-2004 prices.
