Pre-release access list
The list below show those individuals who receive access in advance of publication for briefing purposes to new releases of public spending data that are National Statistics. All individuals listed are in the Treasury. Pre-release access for these purposes will be allowed no earlier than five working days prior to publication.
This list covers both public spending data updates that are released through press notices and publication on the Treasury website, and National Statistics that are published annually in Public Expenditure Statistical Analyses (PESA).
As well as the people on this list, who receive pre-release access to data for briefing purposes, there are a number of people in the Treasury who will have pre-release access to public spending data as management information, or for quality assurance purposes. A further number of people will have access because they are involved in compilation of the data, or for other operational reasons, including placing the data on the website. An audit trail is maintained of all those who have pre-release access to the data, and for what purpose. This is available on request.
