Financial Capability Conference

On 18th October 2006, Ed Balls, Economic Secretary to the Treasury and John Tiner, Chief Executive, Financial Services Authority (FSA) jointly hosted the first National Conference on Financial Capability at Lancaster House. The conference showcased progress on the UK's financial capability agenda; promoted the work of the FSA and its partners in the industry, Government and the voluntary sector; and raised awareness of financial capability and the need to build on existing activity.
