'Stakeholder' Savings and Investment Products Regulations: Government Response

Stakeholder products are a suite of simple, low-cost, risk-controlled savings and investment products that will be launched in April 2005. This response sets out the Government’s final position for the “stakeholder” cash deposit and medium term stakeholder products.

This document follows the consultation that was launched on 17th June 2004. The product specifications and regulations have been finalised in response to consultation responses the Treasury have received. These regulations were laid before Parliament today.
