Defining Home Reversions

Following a full public consultation the Financial Secretary, Ruth Kelly, announced on the 10th May 2004 that Home Reversion plans would be regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). She also announced that legislation to regulate home reversion plans would be brought forward as soon as parliamentary time allows. This document consults on the parameters surrounding the definition of a Home Reversion plan, and is therefore the first step in bringing home reversions into FSA regulation.
